Evidence-Based Treatments
Evidence-based therapy means exactly what it sounds like: therapy supported by scientific research demonstrating its effectiveness. That said, we do not believe in cold, manualized approaches that treat people like machines or plug them into pre-set programs. Our work is deeply personal and tailored to each individual we meet, while staying grounded in the latest scientific knowledge and best practices.
At Keil Psych Group, we stay current with developments in the field and integrate evidence-based techniques seamlessly into our therapeutic style. Our primary orientations include Psychodynamic Therapy (PD), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT). Additionally, our approach is informed by Attachment Theory and cutting-edge, science-backed trauma treatments such as EMDR and Mindfulness-Centered therapies.
Each psychologist on our team brings unique strengths in one or more of these modalities. Finding the right clinical fit is a collaborative process that rests on the intersection of personal connection, treatment approach, and shared goals.
